The US Forest Service asked the High Sierra Volunteer Trail Crew (HSVTC) to help with cleaning up marijuana grow sites in the Sierras. (Later on also in some state parks in the Californoia Coasltal Range were added into the sites for us to clean up.)

There is Federal and State money (CAMP) to remove the Marijuana plants but there is no funding to remove the junk, etc, that the "growers" leave behind when a site is "hit" by Federal/State law enforcement.

When we worked on the grow sites, many pictures were taken. These are the pictures that I know of. I requested that everyone give me a digital copy of their pictures. The USFS also gave me some pictures.

Some video/movie files will not open with all browsers. When this happens a "black screen of uncooperaton" may apear. This usually is displayed with .MOV files, other file formats may be discovered as time goes on. However it is quite common to have video/movie files require downloading before the system will display them.

The original request from the USFS asking us to clean up marijuna grow sites. The request is dated 4/18/2005
